It is too easy to get caught up in the mad race for economical gain or ease. The problem is that when we do this, we forget the One who gives all things. God is the Giver. All that we have now came from Him. Also, we have what we do only as long as He says we can have it. Our health, our wealth, and our happiness have all been given by the grace of our benevolent Father. So, if we would like to enjoy the benefits of our labors and our aspirations, then let us invest all the more in where we stand with the Lord. Let´s make our relationship with Christ the one thing we go after, cultivate, and cherish from now on!
I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, that you may become rich; and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see. Revelation 3:18 (WEB)
You have spoken well. Money serves it’s purpose alright, but we need to be setting our treasures in heaven where moth nor rust doth corrupt and where thieves neither break through nor steal. I actually blog about money sometimes and I think that this would be excellent in my blog posts so I might just re-blog this blog post
