About the author

Scott grew up in a Christian home. His parents moved to the mission fields in Africa when he was just a boy. His family lived for several years in a war-torn country before returning to continue the children´s education in California. As he grew into a young man, his love for adventure also grew. He chased after excitement using any God-given ability or opportunity that provided itself until he began to realize that he was living as a modern-day Prodigal Son. The Lord began to stir in his heart. He had to learn the painful way not to trust the clamoring interests of this world. The Holy Spirit started showing this slow learner how to shift our gaze back toward God again. He began sensing the need for returning to God and seeking His presence in our lives. Life is nothing without our Savior.

In 2014 the burden that the Holy Spirit placed on the young man´s heart finally grew too much for him. Although he was not living in an English-speaking country, he needed to find an outlet where he could direct his heart and those of others toward the Lord. So, this blog, searching4Christ, was created. Here, we would like to provide encouragement in seeking God as our lives depend on it. Growing our relationship with the Lord every single day is our goal. We pray that any visitor to this page senses an urgency to work on their own walk with the Lord. We hope it turns into something that will part the heavens and help us all walk hand-in-hand with Christ forever!

  1. Dear Ambassador of God, Scott, Greetings from India in Jesus our Lord.

I am a Servant of God.

Could you please pray for the salvation of the perishing souls in India?

    Thinking you
Your Servant for Jesus our Lord

  2. Dear Issac,
I will pray not only for the souls perishing in your home country but for all who are suffering the world over. The times we are living in were predicted in the Word of God. (Mark 13, Jeremiah 30) It is time for us to look above the troubles and fix our gaze on the One seated on the Throne. The Lord have mercy on us and draw us all closer to Him now! Be strengthened my friend in Christ. There is hope if we place our hope higher than what this world can give us!
    My prayers are with you.
