Who on earth still stops and turns their eyes above the heavens? Who truly gazes in wonder and lets their hearts soar above the stars? Who searches above the galaxies and the endless spaces of our universe? Who still feels the awe, the trembling fear of what it is like to come before the Almighty?
If only we could stretch the boundaries of our imaginations. If even a tiny bit of the immensity of God were to touch us, it would overwhelm us, and leave us undone. If only we could fathom the tiniest pinch of the mysteries of our limitless Lord!
It is time that we give our hearts over to bewilderment! It is high time that we throw ourselves upon our knees and let our cries mingle with the great men and women of old! Their souls encountered the Divine. Let our praise rise up to our Lord. Let our souls bow in breathless wonder before Him. May we come, terrified yet drawn, to gaze in adoration and contemplate the Maker of the Stars.
