Where To Be

If we could be anywhere in the world, where would it be? The question sparks a million pleasant suggestions. But there is one place that would be better than them all, by far!

The place to be for any of us would be where God is. If we could get to where the Divine is, right into His presence, that would be the best place of all. Where God is, there is love. There is comfort, safety, and peace. The All Powerful, Almighty God has wisdom we cannot fathom and can take care of those He loves. All will be well that is in His hands.

We can take the matter further and say that the closer we get to the Lord, the better off we will be. The more secure our outlook becomes, the closer we grow to our Savior. So, if that is true, then we can have hope. We do not need to be the smartest. We do not need to be better than the next guy. All we need to do is work on our relationship with the King.

Christ went out of His way to become the Way unto the Father. If we recognize that, we can step closer. Everything we can invest in our walk with Him will improve our position. He who stands at the door and knocks will be the same one who will usher us through on His merit or not.

Let us embrace our relationship with the Lord today. Let us grow closer in spirit by the minute. We will then draw closer to the one place we should all strive to be – forever.
