Refuge

There were times when certain people witnessed God move in the most powerful ways. God is God, and those days are not over. Our problem today is that few of us take our faith far enough. We miss out on seeing His miraculous hand at work in our present situations.

Each person alive will face trials. There will come days when we realize we do not control all the aspects of our day. When all hell breaks loose, our troubles overcome us. We will have to go somewhere safe. We could try to surround ourselves with people we trust. We could fortify our hearts with high ideals or positive thinking. Or, we could wrap ourselves in the arms of God.

It might seem like we are hiding from reality. But should leave it to God to draw up the lines of reality. He is big enough to know where those lines should be. There is much that humans can´t see. There is even more than we can imagine. Yet our Unlimited God is meticulously working out His master plan. He never rests.

The message may not be for everyone. But the few who hear it will take heart. It is safe to turn our eyes away from all that threatens us. Fix the eyes of our soul on God above. The more we lean on Him, the more He can show us He has got this! The more we place in the Lord´s hands, the less we have to worry about.
