Experts, experts, experts! The world is full of experts! With the advent of technology and social media, we have a flood of experts. Anyone with an opinion, must now be heard.
The Old Testament tells of a flood ages ago. But this flood we are under now could sweep us all away. We will need superhuman and supernatural help to survive.
The Bible is more than words printed on paper. It is a testimony, a map, an encouragement to look beyond. Where do we look? To the experts? Not exactly. Look above. Look to the Unseen God.
How? If we go to the experts, they will tell us. They may refine us, but we need more. Humans need to go where humans cannot go on our own. Only One Human can take us where we need to go. His name is Jesus Christ. It is a journey of the soul. The experts talk a lot about it. But following them will not take us there. We will step where our Savior steps. Only following the Lord, will we arrive.
There are no shortcuts. Every expert will sell you theirs. Still, some will set themselves on arriving before the throne of God. These will ask for help from above. They will search for the Holy Spirit. They will leave the comforts behind. In the lonely places, they will listen to whispers from above. Let us go there. Let us ask to be taught in the inmost place, where only the Lord can teach.
