A man once said that he didn´t think God knew how bad our pains hurt us. Those are words only people who have suffered will understand. But they are words we should stop from coming out of our mouths.
We might know the pain of losing a loved one. We have all felt overlooked, turned down, and rejected. Every human alive has been hurt physically, mentally, and emotionally. But that does not mean that we understand the pain God has felt. Jesus experienced physical pains most of us will never have to suffer. God the Father and His Son have both suffered rejection and ridicule. They always have and still do, even by us each day. So, emotional and intellectual pains are something they know about. Even more, than we will ever imagine.
Not only does God know pain far better than humans can, but He also cares for us. He feels our worries and our tears. Nothing escapes Him. When He says He loves us and wants only the best for us, He invests His heart. And, He can make help us through our troubles in the end. We can end up by His side forever. Let us trust the One who keeps count of all that hurts us. It will make Him very happy when we are safe with Him forever!
