God Of Deliverance

We are trapped. Most of us don´t even know it. We have fallen under deceit so far that hardly anyone alive today will escape. The lie we have bought into is that this life is for us to live for ourselves. Even many Christians secretly spend their days milking our world for all they can.
There is only one way to escape the deception that we have accepted. It is to turn. First, we must realize that there is more to life than what we can accumulate. We need to stop yearning for earthly treasures and start seeking eternal joys. These would include a vibrant relationship with the Son of God Himself. We will choose to glorify God instead of ourselves. We must set our love on God instead of offering our love to our pleasures here.
Praise the Lord! He is the God of deliverance! Even though we cannot take ourselves out of the trap we are stuck in, He can. He can lift our sights above this place. He can show us His wonders and love. We can grow each day in Him if that is what we choose. Let us turn today. Let us seek the God of Deliverance. Let Him deliver us from ourselves and the world we live in now.

God is to us a God of deliverance. To Yahweh, the Lord, belongs escape from death.  Psalm 68:20
