It takes a humble heart to see it, but we will be glad if we can take our eyes off of ourselves long enough to seek the Lord. Few people these days will go there. We are not living in an age where people are willing to sacrifice their privileges or pleasures. And no one wants to lose their possessions.
Even though the numbers will be small, some will turn from the direction of our crowd. These souls burn for something different. They desire something of greater worth. These burning-hearted believers would put their hope in God. They want to come to know Him. They want to meet Him in living experience. And they will.
God hears the prayers of those who truly need Him. These are the ones who need to know what it feels like to be in the presence of God. He recognizes their aching hearts and will reward their desire to know Him. They will discover what living is when He sends His Spirit to fill them. As God´s Spirit floods our hearts, these hearts will finally spring to life.
