When is it my turn? Why can´t I get what I want? These and other questions flash across our minds when things don´t seem to go our way. Now the world would have a million solutions for us. But there is One Solution that is the only One that will fix it all forever. That fix is the Savior, Jesus Christ.
Now before we stand up to object, let us consider further. We could get each little treat that our hearts go out to. But even still, we would only find another thing to run after next. So why not start at the top? We could shoot for coming to know the King of Kings and the Son of God. Then all good things in Heaven and Earth are available to us.
That is not to set our hearts on a gold rush and look for riches and glory. Material things will prove to bring fleeting satisfaction. Yet coming to know the Prince of the Universe opens doors that we could never fathom. Each day we grow closer to Jesus will bring breathtaking revelations of His power and love. Walking with the Ruler of All will be the treasure that never ceases to amaze us. Choose well what we will seek today.
