Planted In God´s House

Is there a place that we can go to that we know we will be safe? Young people might go running to their mommies or daddies. But what about grown Christians? Where do we feel best?

Sailors heave a sigh of relief when they reach a sheltered port after being battered by the winds and seas. Most people relax when they get back to their familiar homes and areas. Some people may like to be in their local church. But the children of God will only ever feel right when they are where He is.

If, we sense God´s presence when we walk into church, we are home. If, our Father in Heaven is whose company we find, we are safe. If we have run to our Redeemer, Teacher, and Guide, we can heave those sighs of relief. Like the sailors in from the storm, in the courts of God, we too can be at home.

12. The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 13. They are planted in Yahweh’s house. They will flourish in our God’s courts.  Psalm 92:12-13 (WEB)
