Every weekend, we could belt out the songs from our church pews at the top of our voices. But it would only be our lungs and mouths that praise the Lord. We could write eloquent verses to describe all that our God means to us or how much we feel for Him. But it would only be our brains, sentiments, and control of the language that lifts Him up. We could press our bodies on the ground or spend hours on our knees praying to the Almighty. But could we give Him more?
The fact is, we are limited creatures. We struggle to focus every part of us on the same thing at once. We need help. We need our Savior. He can assist us where our resources fail. He can tune our hearts and souls. Christ can send His Spirit to take us further than we have ever been.
Imagine where we could be in our relationship with the Divine if we could tune all that is within us to Him. If we could praise the Lord with all we are, we could rise to spiritual heights. Way up where the angels sing their songs of God´s glory, we could soar. Some golden morning, Christ will come to take us into His Kingdom. That day, we will reach new heights of praise. But let us start training every part of us to come together in perfecting harmony in our worship of the Divine.
