Praise the Lord for all who stop first and consider God! The crowds race off to chase their pursuits. The frantic world spins to a million other goals. Yet a few still remain who bow in quiet corners before they engage in the rush. These precious, humble souls look to the Lord before they are willing to step. They seek the Holy Spirit before launching into our day’s choices. Does that define us?
Every thought and every choice we make is a gift and a challenge. We can grab it for ourselves and run with it. Or, we could hold it up before our Lord to find His direction. We wear His name as Christians. But do we follow Him enough to let Him lead us every step we take?
The Scriptures sing of the wisdom in walking always with our God. They plead they command, and they take us by the hand. They tug us forever toward the Lord. Let us open our understandings. Let us step into the Light of Wisdom. Pray that we come before the Divine and ask Him to show us where His heart is in all we do, think, or say!
