Not everyone likes to give credit to God for the blessings we have in life. Everyone who enjoys a movie, or a book, should appreciate the talent and hard work of those who worked on it. But how often do we stop to think of all that God does for us? Probably not enough.
This spark of life that sets our bodies in motion keeps our hearts ticking and our lungs pumping. The mysterious spirit within each of us gives us intelligence and thoughts. It drives our personalities and helps us engage in the world around us. That environment also has Someone to thank for His creative genius and power. It is all magnificent. When we see a tiny baby, we do not have to give credit to some mutating cells millions of years ago as our master designer. We can look up. We can gaze in wonder above the starry heavens. We could lift our hearts on high and gasp; “How wonderful is this Lord, what Your hands have done!”
