The lives of Christians on earth may be challenging. A person who chooses to place God over the thinking of our times will surely invite the hatred of all that is evil. The darker powers that rule the day will not like losing another soul. So Christ´s followers who walk with Him will face much adversity. (John 15:18-25)
But it is also true that God will see the direction of every person´s heart. Some care more about where they stand with the Lord than the world around us. They are a breed apart. Those willing to suffer in the hopes of being with the One they love will have His open arms to receive them. God misses nothing. He sees it all. No amount of suffering will steal our joy from us. We have our Savior before us. Our hearts are set firmly on Him. Let the storms rage. We can weather them with Christ by our side.
Building a relationship with the Divine is a beautiful thing. It is not something limited to our times, troubles, or version of reality. Our love affair with the Great Spirit can only grow through the pains and afflictions of life. Then, when it is ripe, our faith will place us in His arms of bliss forever! What joy we have to look forward to!
