Ask any believer who has been instructed, how God wants us to walk in this life. They will know the answer. Their parents, pastors, or institutions have given them all they need to know. There are things to avoid doing. There are things we should try to do. There are some things we must get straightened out in what we believe. So, it would seem that the path would be clear. Yet, with so many different paths available, which is the correct one to choose?
There is only one Way. His name is Jesus Christ. Before we look for other experts or dive into their ways, let us get to know Him. It may seem like religion is a maze of confusion, but that is only a trick. Someone would deceive us if he could. God would not place His Kingdom out of the reach of the simple, the poor, or the needy. Any one of us can draw near if we would only open our hearts toward the Lord.
How can we walk in the Lord´s ways? We could start with the lists. Or, we could start by making every step bring us closer in heart and soul to Christ. Let us resist the urge to chase after others and be determined to gain more of a relationship with our Savior. When the Lord has our complete attention, we will be walking in His ways.
