Evil hates good with ageless intensity. Its ill feelings and desire to cause pain reach unimaginable lengths. As long as humans have had siblings, darkness has been there, ready to commit murderous crimes. Throughout the centuries, this vicious spite has only matured and grown. When the Lamb of God blessed the Earth with His physical presence amongst us, He allowed that heinous force to show what it would do to rid the earth of righteousness and love. Right down to this day, the fury of evil has not weakened. Instead, it has fanned the flames of hatred further.
With the allotted time running out, we should not expect darkness to take our faith lying down. Christ did come. And He paid the ransom with His own life. The victorious King will soon return. All that remains in this warfare that rages around us fights to save or steal the last precious souls.
Praise the Lord! Our Father has placed a time limit on evil. He will not let it appear to win for much longer. Though the storm rages and darkness strikes us with its vengeance, our Savior is near. Let the poor, the afflicted, the aching souls draw close to Him. Let us come to know the peace and safety that Christ´s almighty embrace holds!
