Few people know us like our brothers and sisters. Having a family is one of the sweet blessings God has graced us with. But often, siblings can quarrel or struggle to get along. Even our brothers and sisters in Christ can rub us the wrong way at times. That should come as no surprise. All Christians are under attack from a stealthy foe. We have an enemy we cannot see. He is after us because his battle is against the One we look to.
Darkness hates all who would stand in the light of Jesus. If we look to Christ, we should expect to find many moments where our characters are put to the test. The closer we walk with the Lord, the more cunning evil will get in trying to stop God´s nature from reflecting in ours.
Our hope lies in a future day when all God´s children will live without strife playing its part. We will all come together in harmony. What a glorious and beautiful day. Until then, let us be on guard. Let us pray constantly that only love wells up within us. Pray that the Light of God´s presence wards off any creeping darkness. Pray that we can start experiencing the joy of living together in unity.
