This world talks about many things these days. But what it doesn´t make much of anymore is what it will be like to live in the presence of God. For so long, we have held God as if He were far away in some distant place called Heaven. Although we may not see it, Heaven may not be as far off as we had imagined.
God, being who He is and what He is like, is not far from anything that He created. Instead, He is right there holding everything in existence and keeping it all running. His sustaining care provides life, motion, and time with all it needs to remain. When our Lord removes His presence, His grace or His power, things can no longer exist. But this only happens to those things that fall out of His favor or plan. That is exceedingly great news for those who would like to place themselves on His side.
God wants His children to come unto Him. That means all of us. Even when the world acuses us of falling short, He sends our Savior. We all have a Way to return to God. Whoever would like to know the joys of living in the presence of God, those blessings are available. Turn, seek, and come to know the Lord for ourselves. Walking closely each day with Christ will get us where all blessings flow. We can experience the presence of the Divine and make being with Him our home forever!
