Those Who Fear God

The trends in the world today have swung far from what people revered in the past. It wasn´t that long ago when preachers spoke of a God who held authority. He was a righteous God worthy of our respect and healthy fear. Now, people will struggle to love someone they perceive to be harsh. And so nowadays, trembling before the Lord is not used as much of a selling point. But, even in this, the devil has laid a clever little trick.

Take the most righteous person alive. Place them exposed before the throne of God, and that person will melt. Not one of us could stand before such righteousness on our merit alone. When the piercing radiance of God´s glory shines fully upon us, we will see our own flaws and failures. Anyone who has sensed God´s infinite glory and immediate presence will know. Before the Almighty, our hearts become wax when exposed to infinite wonder.

It is precisely these precious quaking ones whom God will gather as His own. The ones who have realized His holiness and righteousness are dear to His heart. We could be among them. We could do our part to expose ourselves before His greatness. Let us come. Let us lay down our confidence and step where few will follow. Let us bow before the Throne of Glory. Let the fear of God work its wonder within our hearts. Bow our souls now in the presenc

e of the Divine. Let us experience what prophets and patriarchs felt when they fell before Him so long ago!
