When everyday people like us come before the Almighty, we are not common folk anymore. We have experienced something deeper and further reaching than our world. Those who have never stood in the presence of the Divine may get the idea that this is all there is. But there is so much more to our existence than meets the eye.
Life is a gift. People downplay it as the will. But it is a miracle. It is marvelous beyond words to describe. And our Great Creator carefully and lovingly designed us all, our environment included. The more we discover, the more we should be moved to praise His Holy Name!
Not only were we thoughtfully made. When we strayed, the Lord came to us. He was willing to suffer and even die to restore us to life eternal. We could thicken our skin and our hearts to His incredible gestures. Or, we could embrace all we can learn of our limitless God. Let us pray for hearts that will open Heavenward. Pray that we allow ourselves the joy of coming before God. Then, let endless praises flow from us to the Divine. Let everything alive sing-along!
