Today´s troubles and those of tomorrow are taken care of through a close bond with the Savior, Jesus Christ.
The things that we face in this life can greatly affect us. But the things that could last longer matter more. We do not always see it as we focus on the issues bombarding us that we perceive as the most urgent. Sadly, where we stand with our Lord often gets pushed down the list. We imagine dealing with it later, when these other concerns have been resolved. But this is a deception. We have been tricked.
The most pressing issue any day can hold is whether we are buried in our Savior or not. We can fuss over these lesser issues. But if there is distance between us and Christ, it will not help us.
It is time we get our priorities straight. Make it today´s urgency to build the tightest union with our Savior. If we can get enough of our Lord, everything else in this life and the next will fall into God´s place for them.
