We wake up each morning and set ourselves to the day´s tasks. Some set time aside to approach the Lord before they rush off. They hold some moments of devotion to God. Maybe they read passages from their Bibles, and prayers go up before the Lord. Those who take this time and go the distance will testify to the benefits of turning to the Lord.
People who seek the Lord and find time for Him will see life from a different perspective. They do not face the same limitations as those who put their trust in themselves. We can have Heaven pulling for us and guiding us to destinations high above those found here in our world.
Then, there exists yet a smaller crowd that will make even more of their day. This peculiar and dying breed sees each day as an opportunity to step right into the presence of God. They must connect with Him, or their time has been wasted. These desperately driven souls must sense God near them now, today, and every day. If not, they press harder, striving to gain some ground. They get closer to the Lord or feel they have made no progress at all.
Why don´t we spend a little time today pondering which type of person we are now? And, how we would like to be? Which perspective will bring us the best results?
