The privilege offered to us is not accepted by everyone. Many hear the challenge and stop short. Some don´t even know we should press on for the Prize.
We have been invited to walk with God. The King of Kings would like to enter a relationship with us. As incongruent as it may seem, we can develop the most intimate and powerful bond between us and the Divine. It is free. The steps are no secret. But who is left that will take them?
Like any other relationship, we cannot take this one for granted. We must start by learning all we can of Him. We must talk with Him, listen to Him, and sit with Him often. We must get deliberate about where our relationship will go. A healthy relationship strengthens and grows. Ignoring our walk with God or downplaying it snuffs it out. Placing the cares of life before being with the Lord hurts us, and we cannot afford the loss.
Step close to Christ today. Let nothing stand in our way!
