To Revel in the Presence

A human´s highest privilege on earth is to step into the presence of God. There can be no thrill greater. Those who have experienced that overwhelming awareness come together to give testimony. It is what religion was originally all about. But it is an art that has lost face and is swiftly vanishing from our planet.

The mention of our plight is not a trick to get people to file back into congregations. Attending a church could be a way to keep the wolves at bay. But the church itself is under attack. The only way to save a few of us is to find The Way again. Our path into the presence of God is through the redemptive work of God´s Son, the Savior.

Dear Lord,  Let us Press close and seek You. That will take us where we want to go. If waking up to Your presence is what we want, then give it to us. Make our relationship the most pressing goal of our day. Then, let each step we take gain us ground closer to You. Cuddles us in close and open our awareness. Hush, dazzled, and amazed us with Your glory. When You washe over us with Your presence, we will have found our place for good! Amen
