It could be dark forces, or it could be our fallen hearts. But someone is tampering with our chances of ending up with God. If we fail to see any urgency to right ourselves with the Lord, we have our proof. Each of us needs the Savior. And we need Him today!
The moment we stop driving hard after the One we follow, we fall behind. It is hard to see where the Spirit is moving when we let distance creep in between us. Pray that we realize the danger and our plight.
Dear Lord,
Don´t let anything or anyone convince us not to press closer to You today. Please give us a burden. Afflict us with desire. Make our hearts hunger and thirst for more of You. Wake us up to today´s emergency. Then be close as we attempt to draw into Your presence we pray.
