How to be Sure Where We Will End Up

The days and years roll steadily by. If the setbacks are few, we manage to live out the time allotted to us. And we do the best we can. Even proclaimed Christians march through the tedious motions of our lives. Why? Where will our efforts get us?

There is a “well done” statement waiting to reward those who look for it. We might not find it down the trendy path. But the prize is as sure as the One who promised it to us.

When the time comes, God will give each of us our reward. Some will be drawn in closer to enjoy Him forever. Others will not go there. It wasn´t their goal in life. Pray that we choose well what today and tomorrow will bring for us.

Dear Lord, we cannot afford to have any surprises when our race is over. So please, come help us check the caliber of our faith. Are we truly embraced in a loving relationship with You? Take us from wherever we were and set our hearts fully upon You. Be the reward we get from today and from each day. Then, our future will be sure. Amen
