The Good in Our Struggles

Struggles are not punishment from God. They are an invitation to step closer and watch Him work.

Our first reaction to pain and threats is often to complain to God. We wonder why this must happen to us, and we give in to feeling sorry for ourselves. But there is always much more going on in spiritual terms than meets the eye.

Whenever we are faced with something that makes us turn to God, it is a blessing in disguise. Without the hiccup, we would never seek a cure. Without the symptom, we would not seek our Physician.

Those who truly seek the Lord will recognize their opportunity to step closer to Him. Let us become experts in finding reasons to bring our hearts in tune with God´s. If we grow close enough, we will get to see the Almighty at work.

Dear Lord, We want to get really good at approaching You. Teach us to seek You at every turn. Turn our walk with You into something that gets us through our day, and all that we face within it, we pray. Amen

“Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord,  Acts 3:19 (WEB)

Don’t be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life. Revelation 2:10 (WEB)
