A most wonderful hope is to be spoken to by the Divine. Like a phone call from some cherished person in your life, our hearts would skip inside. Just think of it. The Almighty reaches through the mystical barriers that separate our world from His. He communicates a message directly to us, and WE HEAR IT!
The three wise men experienced the journey of their lifetimes. They were rewarded by seeing Jesus for themselves. The stars in the sky guided them to Him. But then, on top of their blessings, God also spoke to them in a dream.
The story of these men so long ago ends with them listening to God´s timely warning. They leave for their homes by another route. Imagine the wonders they had to ponder along the way!
Many people go through their lives never expecting to experience God in their dreams. He reserves this kind of blessing for hearts tuned to Him. What would we give to have one of the most beautiful experiences available to us? Pray that we grow so close to God that He can convey His messages to us, even in our dreams.
Dear Lord, we are touched when reading the wonders some real people have experienced. We too would draw near to You. Our hearts leap at every one of Your gestures directing us to You. Permit us to witness Your mighty arm at work in our lives. Let the realization of Your call leave us amazed, we pray. Amen
