It can happen all the time. We get into a situation that is over our heads or out of our control. When the strains and pains get too much, we look for help. Where do we go? Well, there is still a place. It is on our knees. There is still a great Helper. His name is Jesus. The Son of God is still the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Throwing prayers off into space or throwing His name around might not help much. But those who walk each step with Christ are nestled in the mighty hands of God.
Dear Lord, at all times and in every situation, let us seek You. Please be the first thing we turn to. Be the magnet that draws our attention. If we can remain with You every step of the way, we will be safe. No matter what we may see in this life, near You, all will turn out well. Be the strength of our souls and the delight of our attention. Let our mission each day be to revel in Your presence. Amen
