Cleaning up one´s life and attending services are often thought of as proof one has come to God. But people who have never opened their hearts up to Him or sat in His presence can do those things. It is when we start to care whether someone else has met the Lord that our hearts have been touched by Him.
Dear Lord, kindle a forceful drive within us to grow closer to You. When our hearts yearn to be with You all the time, then we will be truly Yours. The sign we cannot rest until we see is that we care where others stand with You. When we long for hearts to know and love You, it will prove that we do too. Amen
