God Speaks

There is a special breed of believers. They are the ones who steal off to find a quiet place or moment to be alone with Him. They do it often. They are never quite themselves unless they find their times to be in His presence. They have questions for Him. These believers need to hear how the Lord feels about everything that goes on in their lives. This breed is special because God has much to say to them. They have learned to listen because they needed to hear. Now, what the Lord whispers to their hearts is what they live for.

Dear Lord, raise up for yourself a special, select crowd. Let their be a handful of believers who approach You. Let some of us seek You until we cannot live without You. Let us come close, even into Your presence. Give us a desire after You that pushes us to need Your take on everything. Then let us hang on every word you whisper from now on; we pray. Amen
