God in heaven has been at work. He has His plan and has not rested in bringing it to completion. He has disclosed His intentions for us. Those who seek the ways of the world will not understand. But those who look above will. We read His word. We can either respond to His countless gestures of kindness and mercy or carry on along our way. The Bible has two testaments. They both point us to God and His Son. Or, we make it our mission to get to know Them, or not. Pray that we choose what is good!
Dear Lord, thank You for not spitting us out just yet. Now that we know in part what You are offering us, please help us choose well. Let us see that there are qualities of soul that you look for in people. Those qualities are desire for You and perseverance. Please enable us to do both. Take us by the hand and walk with us, step by step. Only let us set our hope on being with You forever, we pray. Amen
