A step into the presence of God is a thrilling thing. But to share every step with Him can only be our highest goal.
Moments of enlightenment where we are aware of the presence of God are precious beyond words. Yet as sweet as they may be, they will not mean that we have attained all that God has prepared for us. He longs for us to be with Him always. Let us long for it too! Let us take our small gains and drive us hard after Him. Pray we become driven in our pursuit of the presence of God until we never have to be separated again!
Dear Lord, give us glorious moments when we are aware of Your nearness. Then take those isolated blessings and increase them. Make our times with You so sweet to us that we seek them constantly. Turn us into the kind of followers and seekers whose hearts yearn for You all the time. In Jesus´ name we pray. Amen
