Where to Put Our Efforts

If you listen to most Christians talk, it sounds like God, and they are quite closely bonded. The problem is, that we could all stand to be a little closer to Him than we are right now. Yet, if we were walking, and talking with Him, we wouldn´t need to tell anyone. It would show. God´s presence with us would be like a sweet aroma radiating from our nature. Pray that our bond with the Lord is strong enough to warm all those around us.

Dear Lord, let there be nothing that keeps us from approaching You. We cannot afford to have pleasant notions, convenient texts, or rituals, satisfy us. When we pray, let there be an encounter between us. Make us connect. Let Your presence be there as we walk and talk together throughout our day. Let our bond be the sweetest relationship of our lives. Amen
