When will we learn to press on in our relationship with God? Relationships are things that must be invested in. We must seek to engage with our friends to receive constant and growing enjoyment. Family members are always closer to our hearts if we get to spend quality time with them. How can we not see that our walk with God needs growth? Pray for urgency! Ask the Author and Founder of our faith for a stronger desire. Let us learn to need our Savior with us every moment of every day!
Dear Lord, show us that our relationship is weak when we forget to throw ourselves into it. Instead, increase our desire to be with You. Make our hearts ache when we are far away. And make them thrill and soar whenever You are near. Amen
