All the Difference in the World

Some people play at religion as if it were a game. They revel in their lofty notions and sentiments without ever approaching the Lord. It takes a real encounter with the Divine to turn earthlings into children of God. We must come before His presence. It is a humbling experience to stand before the throne. But, through the piercing brightness of His glory, glows the warmth of His love. Mercy lets us find grace to stand in the face of righteousness. But it is awareness of God´s presence that holds our hearts in reverent awe.

Pray God strikes us with awareness today. Ask that we know how close our Lord truly is. Then let us take our every step together along with Him.

Dear Lord, open the eyes of our hearts and souls. Let us know that we can come and be with You. Give us moments of clarity that both feed us and keep us thirsting for more. Sweeten the times we share together until there is no other place we want to be but with You! Amen
