A Privileged Walk With God

Enjoying a privileged walk with God is rare but open to anyone who desires it.

Enoch walked with God. David had a special relationship with Him too. The Bible tells of many who lived out their days on earth while their thoughts and hearts were with the Lord. Christian history is also filled with remarkable people and their amazing stories. They all enjoyed privileged positions with the Spirit. His presence was with them. They spoke with Him often and with such familiarity that it is an inspiration to us all. Yet, this closeness the great people of faith had can also be ours. A most intimate relationship with God is something we each should be enjoying every day!

Dear Lord, when we hear of remarkable relationships with You, let us be inspired. Let us rejoice for them and then set to work on the one we share with You. Set a fire within us to grow this bond between us. We will not settle for what the rest of our peers settle for. We need to experience Your presence now. Bring awareness of how near You are. Let us enjoy sweet moments together, even as we go about our daily lives. Amen

And after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire the sound of a low whisper. 2 Corinthians 12:2-4 ESV / I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows. And I know that this man was caught up into paradise—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows— and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter.

Matthew 17:1-3 ESV / And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. And he said to them, “What is this conversation that you are holding with each other as you walk?” …
