Christians today can slip into a dangerous way of thinking. They may like the thought of being a saved child of God so much that they do not seek more of the Lord. It can happen to any of us. And, it will unless we do something about it. Let us pray that we cultivate a hunger and thirst for the Lord. So much so that it drives us hard after Him. Pray that we seek a relationship worthy of the One who died for us!
Dear Lord, let us take a moment together. Examine with us the state of our hearts. Look inside and help us see what more we can give of ourselves to this relationship between us. We do not want any surprises. Our faith must be vibrant and growing. Teach us through Your word each day; we pray. Amen
