So Grace Might Reign

So Grace Might Reign

so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Romans 5:21  NIV

The person who thinks they are perfect does not need God.  It is the person who realizes the need for a Savior who will turn and look for Christ.  So much goes on in the name of religion and in the name of Christianity.  But true Christianity and true faith are born out of a need to seek God and find Him with all our hearts.  Even within the church many can be found who are so sure of themselves that they forget that they too fall short and need God´s grace.  Jesus was sacrificed so that grace could reign and we all can be saved.  Are we aware of the areas in our lives where only grace reins and allows Jesus´ righteousness to cover us before God?

We can bring glory to the Lord by realizing our need for Him and His grace.  Only then will we give Him the credit and gratitude He deserves.  Only then will we be safe from thinking we are better than the next guy.  Only when we see with painful tears, our own moments of treason, will we go on to seek and follow our Savior Jesus Christ!  Shall we pray that we hold close to us, the grace that has been poured out?  Shall we let grace reign in our lives today and love Him all the more for the love that God has shown us?

Dear Lord,

Thank You, thank You, thank You!  Thank You for showering us with grace when we have not stayed always with You to deserve it!  Let us remember the grace that reigns our lives and gives us the chance to praise Your name forever!

Amen
