Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 2nd Corinthians 6:14 NIV
They were married in the sight of God and man. They were from different cultures and different religions. They loved each other immensely. They felt that it was God who had brought them together. They soon had children. Those children were blessings and precious gifts to them directly from the Almighty. But for all they shared together, the couple still did not see eye to eye about the Lord. They could hardly discuss their beliefs without offending the other. They missed out on kneeling down to pray together as a family. They rarely ever sat in a pew to hear an uplifting sermon. The children sadly lost those precious tender years in the care of a church family. Are there people that we are tied to in our lives who could still find the Light of Jesus to lift them out of their darkness? Could we find a prayer in our hearts for them?
What God may still be able to do for someone of different beliefs, is a discovery worth praying for. Even people in our church might need a little more Light to help them through their dark times. Those who honestly walk close to Christ will want to pray for those who are further away from Him. Could we pray for all those who could still find more hope in Jesus our Savior right now?
Flashover us all today! Let those who haven´t been blessed by Your Presence, find the Light of Your love in us, we pray!
