1st Thessalonians 2:4 Entrusted

On the contrary, we speak as men approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please men but God, who tests our hearts.  1st Thessalonians 2:4  NIV

Once again the reply came back that the post was not approved for the Facebook group.  It was a heartfelt message sent by a concerned Christian.  It had no foul language or distasteful images.  It contained no questionable doctrines or misleading theology.  It simply lifted God up and made man accountable to Him.  But for some reason the ones who wielded the power to post decided it was not worthy of publishing.  What about our message?  Have we truly been entrusted by God with His words?  Or are we wielding some imaginary power to impress ourselves or others too?

God will be the final judge of what truly comes from Him or not. Man can only say if it fits with their preferred views.  Modern religions may carry a lot of weight in their own circles.  But they will tremble when the true Judge shows up.  Honest souls know this.  They are not loud or proud people.  True servants of the Lord know they are accountable to the Almighty.  They know very well what it is to tremble and fear.  Their greatest concern is pleasing God.  Have we trembled before God lately to see if the words we wield have been entrusted to us?  Should we now?

Dear Lord,

Let our words and our hearts burn their way out to Your children everywhere as You entrust them to us, we pray!
