Marveled

2nd Thessalonians 1:10 Marveled

on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.  2nd Thessalonians 1:10  NIV

They could see a cloud of mist over the trees in the forest.  It was hot and humid.  Monkeys and a host of birds chirped and sang in the African sunrise.  A family left the hotel and followed a path through the trees.  As they drew nearer to the cloud of mist, it loomed higher into the morning sky and you could hear a distant roar.  At a gate the family paid the fair to visit one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Victoria Falls.  The path led them deeper into what now looked like a jungle.  A noise like a constant thunder grew steadily and mist began to fall on the family like rain.  Suddenly, the trees ended abruptly in the most spectacular view of cascading water.  The magnificent Zambezi River plunged over 350ft. into the depths of the canyon below.  The family could not help but marvel at the sight, the sounds, and the excitement of it all.  What do we have to marvel at today?

The hope to which the Christian waits for in breathless expectation, is to enter into the Presence of the Almighty God!  What a wonder it will be to be ushered before the Creator of every atom and cell, of every galaxy and stellar system!  Can we feel the excitement and anticipation growing inside of us right now?

Dear Lord,

Expand and increase the hope and a growing anticipation to stand in Your presence and to marvel at You, we pray!

Amen
