The pain and turmoil can make it extremely difficult for us to swallow it all and forgive those who hurt us. If we are set on following Jesus though, shall we try to see past ourselves, and our issues, and focus on the figure of our Savior suffering on the cross to forgive us when we were gone astray? If we can keep our eyes and our hearts on Him, then it will be His nature that overcomes our resentment and His heart that mends it all!
