It may come as a surprise to many that our Lord and Savior does not give us much hope for a peaceful and lucrative life here on earth. Jesus was misunderstood, ridiculed, and insulted. People who care not about what God´s real plan for us is always lash out at those who step out of the parade of the world around us. If we do not go with the stream of current thought, if we press forward in our quest to know God, we will always come under the attack of dark forces. We will never know from where our oppression will come from, only that the goal is to steal our chances of making it into our Father´s arms forever. But those who have truly tasted, those who have sought to experience God, will press forward nonetheless! Our hearts will push us on in faith! The still small voice of the Holy Spirit will boom in our ears and we will insist in our search of Christ until that great day comes and we will stand forever in His presence! Oh, what glorious day! Press on, oh oppressed ones!
