Joy Comes In The Morning

For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5

A tiny child sobs painful tears and nestles into the embrace of their loving parent. The hurt strengthens a bond developing between caring family members. Soon the pain fades away. What was tragedy turns into strength. The tie that grows from the moment enhances the individuals involved. Both parent and child are better prepared to face what will still come. They grow stronger and happier together.

God cannot be any stronger. But the closer we grow to Him, the more opportunities we get to witness His might. God is the ultimate Good. What He has in store for us is infinitely better than we can imagine. The one thing that remains is for our bond to grow. We will become stronger as we realize He has us in His loving embrace.

Morning is coming. It is a glorious day that no one could fathom. Those we find nestled snugly within the arms of our Heavenly Father will soon forget the night. Discipline and tragedies will give way to a new Light. Let us set our hearts on the joy of dawn when Christ comes for those who love the Lord!
