Pure hearts will always be under attack. Evil hates good. Bad people will forever go after the innocent and try to hurt them more. It is the way of the fallen world we live in. It runs after an evil deceiver. Dark powers would turn everything around and taint all that is holy, good, and beautiful. There is no need to convince. Just take a look around us.
In this world where morals drop year by year. We may get the feeling that evil is winning the battle. The Psalmists often felt the same way. But if we read on, there is always praise for God Almighty. He saves the day. He rescues the humble, the poor, and the needy. God rushes in to care for all those who call on Him.
So, if we feel like we have been thrown amongst the lions, lift up our eyes. Gaze higher than the heavens. Look right up to God. He is ready and willing to move. He longs to take care of all our needs. He is doing it already. We only need to see it. Pray for awareness.
