God´s Beloved

There is nothing like knowing we are the beloved of God. We don´t even need to know how limitlessly powerful He is. And we can already start to feel special. All we need to know is that the Divine is above all we know. Gaze up in wonder, and our hearts will begin to come close to our rightful relation unto Him. Still, to be loved by someone always feels good. And, when that someone is more special or looked up to, it feels even better. Then, to be loved by God is the greatest thing that can happen to man.

To take the matter further, if we are loved by God and respond to His gestures, we can become His beloved. That means that we have caught His attention. It means that He dotes on us. We have become the apple of His eye. Why? Because we have tuned our hearts to adore Him. He can pour His love upon us. We are His, and He is ours. That starts us up the pathway of an endearing relationship. Always closer, always sweeter. No love affair can compare to one of adoring worshippers and their Gracious Lord.

Among the joys that come with being wrapped up in our Savior, we must include salvation. God saves. He saves us from all that we face. The Lord frees us from disbelief. He rescues us from distraction. He delivers us from a world of threats and woes. Blessed are those who choose this path to follow. Blessed are those who yearn to be the blessed of God. They will do what it takes to get there.
