The God of Beginnings

If we would like to make some new resolutions, we might want to start by getting close to God. He is the Inventor of beginnings. The Lord is the Author of it all. There is one universal truth that the Bible holds. And that is that He is calling us, His children, to come unto Him. That is not a call to sign on with a more correct brand of religion per se. But it does mean that we leave our old self.

This year, starting today, why don´t we make it our mission to grow that relationship with God? He has called us to nothing less. We would draw near the One who is the King of Beginnings. If we grow close enough to God, much closer than before, our new birth has begun.
