Two Kinds of Believers

Some people are content merely declaring their standing with Christ. But the saved are those who are on a mission. Their mission is not to boast of position but to assure themselves of one. They are driven in their quest to know God. They want to wake up each day to His presence in their lives.

Dear Lord,

While the world will sit back and relax or chase all that it does, please be our goal. We would make more of You. We want You and Your presence to be what we wake up for each day. We would engage with You and stay with You throughout our day. Grant us more of Your Spirit and more awareness of Your presence. Give us hunger after You, we pray.
